Leslie Vertes, a Holocaust survivor will be speaking about his life on Wednesday, November 11 in the Main Auditorium from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Although Leslie survived the Holocaust, he lost many family members in concentration camps. “It is painful to talk about the past I want to forget”, he says. However, Leslie wants to tell his story so that people will be prepared to fight against the hatred and intolerance that still exists in the world today. This will be Leslie’s 11th time speaking at Champlain College Saint-Lambert, and his 86th presentation.
