Champlain Regional College, Saint-Lambert Campus, receives ministerial approval for the Early Childhood Education Program Champlain Regional College, Saint-Lambert Campus, is pleased to announce the addition of a new program starting in the fall 2015 semester as approved by the Ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche de la Science et de la Technologie. The recently approved Early Childhood Education program “322.A0” will help to serve the needs of the job market for well-qualified educators in early childhood careers. The St. Lambert Campus Director, Mr. Don Shewan, noted, “The addition of the Early Childhood Education program will allow the College to provide an essential service to our school board partners and communities.  While we have successfully offered the program through our Continuing Education Department for several years, it will now have an active role in our regular day division as part of our technical programs that respond to the needs of our community, business, and industry partners.” The Champlain Regional College Board of Governors wishes to thank the government for giving the College the opportunity to offer this program, as well as the Riverside and New Frontiers School Boards for their support in forwarding our request to the Minister. Le Directeur du campus Saint-Lambert M. Don Shewan mentionne «l’addition du programme de technique d’éducation à l’enfance permettra au Collège de fournir un service essentiel à nos partenaires  de conseils scolaires et les communautés. Nous avons réussi à offrir le programme par le département d’éducation permanente  pendant plusieurs années, il va maintenant jour un rôle actif dans notre programme de jour. » Le Conseil des gouverneurs du Champlain Regional College tient à remercier le gouvernement pour donner le Collège la possibilité d’offrir ce programme, ainsi que le Riverside et New Frontiers School Boards pour leur soutien dans la transmission de notre demande au ministre.
